There you are, innocently moving
about and taking care of life's issues.
Suddenly, the world is spinning, even while you are sitting perfectly
still. It starts as vertigo but then
other symptoms appear: nausea, a burning hot flash, bowel issues and an
unnerving loss of balance. Closing your
eyes makes the problem worse. You start
to panic because you have lost control and do not know how to stop all that is happening. You wait, you focus straight ahead and, if
you are lucky, it will subside. Often it does not. Welcome
to my world. I will tell you right now
that there is no "cure", but I do have a happy ending to share with
you. My vertigo problems are under control. For years it was labeled "Meniere's
Syndrome" and I was given unsatisfactory solutions, but I now have the correct diagnosis. I no
longer feel "always on the verge" of an attack.
I AM NOT A PHYSICIAN AND I DO NOT
PROMOTE ANY PRODUCTS OR TREATMENTS FOR ANYONE ELSE. I AM MERELY SHARING MY STORY AND PERHAPS
THAT WILL HELP SOMEONE ELSE BEGIN TO FIND SOLUTIONS.
In the end, I needed to hit rock bottom before I found the right kind of
doctor and the correct diagnosis. It
took 4 years, even though the whole story goes back 22 years. If you want, skip to the section "Finally In Control"( Click Here) in my topics and just read about the most recent
events and the solution. However, you
may be interested in the early stages and will relate to the progression of
events and symptoms I have gone through: "Stages of My Symptom" (Click Here). If all this sounds familiar, you will be interested in my other topics for support.
